Reaching Bijapur and Badami I have entered an new state of India, Karnataka.Badami is located in the North of Karnataka and famous for their caves and temples. After climbing up the hill to the caves you will have afantastic few on the lake and the temples which are on the opposite side of the valley. The fresh brise cools your body down and drys your sweet. Or should I better practice cooling pranayama as I have learned in Indore? Having seen all the must to be places in Badami I headed to Pattadakal and Aihole. The group temples in Pattadakal are of course very famous and located at the river Malaprabha. Here all Chalukya kings were empowered by big ceremonial. When I came out of the ruins, I stopped the next bus to get a lift to Aihole. This bus was full with girls which made a school trip to all these temples. I was certainly invited to join and had to answer a lot of questions like how is your mothers name or your country name.. etc.. it was a great deal of fun. Aihole has its own historical significance and is called as cradle of Hindu rock architecture.
Later in the evening (23.50) I arrived in Hampi.
Good night,
Bianka
