Back on time for Christmass

Hello all,
Yes, I am back in Rips, Netherlands.
When I came to the aiport to discuss with british airways my possibilities to come back, the security people did not want me to go in the airport because I did not have a valid flight ticket. In the end I was standing their with Nicky, an English girl who had the same problem as me and were getting made together. haha NO, no we were talking about our experience travelling in India.. Incredibly we had to wait one hour till we got the Yes from security to get inside the airport and able to talk with British Airways. I could have flight back the same day to London, but there was no seat available to fly back to Amsterdam before Christmass. It seems that everyone is doing the christmass shopping there. In the end I had to fly with Lufthansa via Frankfurt and Duesseldorf. It is strange now to see the snow and it is freezing cold here.brrrrr ..I still can't believe that I have already spent 12 weeks in India. The time went by so quickly! India has great nature, culture and traditions. The mentality is a lot different from the one in Europe and due to this there is sometimes confussion and difficult to understand each other.
The food is spicy and you have to get used to it, but also very tasty.
India is definitely worth traveling to and seeing.

Hi Bianka, Wish you Frohe Weihnachten und ein glueckliches Neujahr. I feel sorry for all the trouble on your trip back. The London airport has been closed for a few days so likely that caused the problem of no seats anymore on the flight to amsterdam. I was last week in the US and managed to be just before the heavy snow back. Otherwise I likely would have have similar problems. The positive side is that we will have a white Christmas, which will certianly be a bit special as you have been in sun and warm India for so long -
