Good evening,
Today the bus trip was also breath taking. I started in Kottayama and this old puplic bus had really sometimes problems with thesteppness of te road. I am sure we only had a speed of 10km/hour sometimes. At the beginning we drove through banana, ruber plantations and normal tropical forest where sometimes parots flew around. On the upper moutains you could explore tea, coffee and spice plantations. So you could see the green hills of Kumily. Of course, this village is plastered with spice and tea shops and I have problems to choose where to buy. Furthermore I have found a lovely hotel with roof terasse and stunning few on the jungle and national park. I booked a one night tiger trail trip which I only will join. A bit boring, but on the other none talks and maybe more chance to see more animals. Therefore, I will stay tomorrow night in a tent in the national park with one guide and one cook. Even the call it tiger trail trip the chance that we see a tiger is 2 % because in this area there are only 45 tigers and a lot of people coming here. But I will be happy if I see more than only monkeys because monkeys you see here everywhere. One more thing about yesterdays boat trip..I forgot to tell.. with the two German boys Lukas and Michi we tried Indian zelf brewed beer. It was awful even after the second glas you could not get rid off the nasty taste in your throat.haha they decided not to take one bottle back to Germany. Secondly at the end we saw that the remaining beer in the glas was moving.. we are sure we saw little animals..yeeeh iih I said as convincing as I could that must be yeast bacterias . Luckely I did not get ill today.. so it was not that bad I guess, apart from the taste, of course.
Take care,
Bianka
