Namaste,
after having stayed on one location nearly 2 month you get a bit attached to it. Because you get to know the people better and have fun with it and it makes you also a bit sad to leave. Adva and I bought some little present for people we had more contact with. like Shotu the 15 year old boy working in the kitchen.Shotu is not his real name, but every boy in India who is working is called Shotu which means little. So when I left Monday evening they were all standing at the gate and waving goodbye... During my bus trip to Jalgaon I shared my bed with an old lady. When we arrived at 5am in the morning she organized a shared Taxi for both us.Because I had to go the bus station and did not know the way. She told the taxi driver.. this German girl comes whole way from Europe to travel to India and does not speak a word Hindi. How she thinks she can manage that? ...very strange the western people and the both were laughing...I was also laughing but more about how easy it is sometimes to understand a foreign language even if you don't understand a word. Reminds me on my travel to China.
I waited for 1 1/2 hours till sunset at the bus station in Jalgaon decided not to stay there overnight and took the next bus to Ajanta. The temples and gaves of Ajanta were build 200 b. C. for boedhistische monks, just in the carved out the stones. You can visit 34 caves or temples and some have painting made by minerals pigments. It is very green and close to a river and a nice waterfall. The afternoon I arrived in Aurangabad. Being used to the peaceful atmosphere at the Yoga campus it seems very noisy here. Today in the morning I took a bus to Ellora and this is even more impressive than Ajanta because the stone carving and the caves are bigger and more beautiful. The Kailashnath Temple is the biggest one and build out just one big monolith. It took them more than 100 years to build and finish all the figures and accommodations.
It is very peaceful there and located in a very nice nature with waterfalls, rivers and even more caves close by. Tomorrow after seeing a bit of Aurangabad I will leave to Bijapur bu sleeper bus again.
Take care,
Bianka
